The Amsterdam Skate Festival starts on fridaynight with a tour around Amsterdam and continues for two days in the weekend. There are plenty of options for spending the night in Amsterdam, we selected a few for you. We have also arranged very cheap accommodation ourselves, in the vicinity of the festival grounds..

Festival Offer: Two nights (August 13 and 14) in 'Oostenburg Sporthal Amsterdam'. You will sleep in a sports hall together with a maximum of 150 skaters. Price € 12,50 for two nights. Close to the festival grounds.


Cityhostel, Amsterdam Vondelpark: toplocation, clean and modest. In the Vondelpark. This youth hostel is situated in the centre and next to the nicest (skate-)park of Amsterdam. All the rooms are very clean and have got shower and toilet. The youth hostel has got two restaurants with a view on the Vondelpark, there are four rooms for group meetings, a television lounge and tourist information. Prices € 20 and higher.

Hans Brinker Youth Hostel: situated in the town center. Layed-back atmosphere (backpacker style). Prices € 20 and higher.

Campsite Zeeburg: Quite near to the Jaap Eden Complex, not so close to the center, situated across the Schellingwouder bridge, you need your skates to get there after midnight (3/4 hour from the center, 1/4 hour from the Jaap Eden Complex). Prices € 4 per person, € 4 per tent.


Hotel Casa 400 (***): More expensive, close to the Jaap Eden Complex, train station nearby.
