The Amsterdam Skate Festival 2004 has already received a lot of media attention. On May 14th, a team of Dutch International Ice Skating Champions visited the Jaap Eden Baan to promote a national sports fund raising program and the festival.

More than eight hundred people and several camera's witnessed a short demonstration of track racing, slalom and skate dancing. The short track race was won by the talented European All-Round Champion Mark Tuitert in an impressive sprint.
